NOPE is definitely a NOPE film for me. To be honest I expected alot to come out from this film, but sadly it did not deliver. This made me realize that having a trusted duo (Peele & Kaluuya) won't always guarantee a satisfying result.

This is supposed to be a horror film, set on a western atmosphere, with sci-fi element, and a psychological thriller intensity. But sadly none of those genres were adressed well. There is nothing scary about this film. It looks dense & cartoonish like mainstream Disney fantasy films.

On one moment the film made us believe that something interesting is going to come out, but then it went nowhere. Repeat this sequence 5x-10x and that is what you will get from 'Nope'.

There is a similar case earlier this year with the controversial project (Men) by another great director Alex Garland. Despite being flat for most of its time, the ending of 'Men' clear things up, but everything about 'Nope' is not good enough.

Its heartbreaking to give a bad rating for a Jordan Peele film, I loved his earlier projects, but I left disappointed with 'Nope'.
