'Beach House' can be described already as one of the big names in dream pop scene. They have been making music since 2004 releasing seven albums. I've known their presence for some years but really started to like them only after their latest album '7' in 2018. This EP continues with the same line having psychedelic soundscapes combined to dream pop and even some distant kraut rock vibes. The first two songs are nicely balancing between hope and despair. All in all the EP is a short but beautiful piece of music that all dream pop lovers should check out!
Midwife - Luminol
For the friends of: Beach House, Mogwai, Ghosts on TV

The latest release of 'Midwife' is slightly easier to approach compared to her previous works. The same spirit is still there, combining emo, noise, drone and pop melodies into melancholic songs build on repetition. The atmosphere is well built being same time cold but sometimes even warm. I like the simplicity of the arrangements. This gives nicely room for the atmosphere and the whole soundscape.
Marissa Nadler - The Path of The Clouds

Random words: distance
'Marissa Nadler' has already released 9 albums previously. The 10th album continues with the same line, not taking any new bold moves. But when there are all pieces in the right places there's no need to create something very unexpected. But one new element there is still. The album has been made during the pandemic situation and all tracks are produced by herself. The album has a certain cosmic and magical vibe with some psychedelic soundscapes which are still pretty easy to approach. The overall atmosphere is melancholic and longing. Some of the arrangements remind also a bit from 'Danger Mouse's production or 'Melody's Echo Chamber' but just much sadder.
