Valley Taylor has been a solo touring act across the U.S. for years but found new creative energy upon meeting lead guitarist Geoff Nelson at a show in Oakland, California. Their collaboration quickly led to the creation of their debut album, Lifetime of Unending Joy. Drawing inspiration from bands like Modest Mouse, Pavement, and Bon Iver, the duo blends indie rock with heartfelt emotion, delivering a wide range of dynamic sounds.

Their recent performance at Sacramento's Concerts in the Park and multiple television and film sync placements, including three songs featured in The Fall starring Jocelyn Hudon, speak to their growing success. Valley, an artist with a passion for hand-drawn animations, also collaborates with labels like Epitaph and Rude Records, lending their unique artistic talents to projects for bands like Hunny and Have Mercy.

Their debut album highlights personal freedom and self-acceptance, ranging from the acoustic-808 fusion of “If I Tried” to the indie-rock anthem “Zombie.” The final two tracks were written for Shaun Hart’s upcoming film The Fall, adding another layer of versatility to their work.

As Valley Taylor reflects, "I just wanna make music how I hear it, to express feelings and get that cathartic release we all need to let go and move on."
