Most love songs capture a single feeling. Rabbit on the Moon is attempting something far larger: a monument. The independent project is built entirely around one continuing real-life love story, centered on May 21: A Love Story, a twenty-one-song autobiographical body of work transforming more than two decades of love, marriage, family and memory into music. The story began on 21st May 2005, the day the artist behind the project first saw the woman who would eventually become his wife, and each of the twenty-one songs is designed to preserve a different moment, memory or emotion from the life they have since built together.
