LUMIÈRE Publication
LUMIÈRE by Indiefferential is a publication for faces, images and stories that deserve to be seen.
Rooted in modeling and photography, LUMIÈRE explores the space between fashion, beauty, portraiture and creative expression. We are interested in work that has a point of view, whether it is polished and fashion-forward, intimate and personal, raw and experimental, or simply impossible to look away from.
We welcome both emerging and established creatives. You do not need to fit a traditional definition of fashion to be considered. What matters is the image, the presence and the story behind it.

What LUMIÈRE Looks For
We are drawn to strong faces, distinctive imagery and a clear creative point of view.
A submission does not have to be extravagant to stand out. It can be minimal, cinematic, emotional, experimental, classic or raw.
We look for:
- Strong visual identity
- Thoughtful photography
- Interesting models and personalities
- Original concepts
- Cohesive editorial series
- Professional presentation
- Clear creative direction
- Complete and accurate credits
Above all, we look for work that feels like it belongs to someone — not something created simply to fill a page.

How to Submit
01 — Tell Us Who You Are
Introduce yourself and tell us what you do. Whether you are a model, photographer, stylist, designer or part of a creative team, we want to understand your role in the work.
02 — Show Us Your Work
Send your website, portfolio, Instagram or a selection of images that represents your current visual direction.
03 — Tell Us the Story
Give us some context about the project. What was the idea? Who was involved? What inspired it? Is it part of a larger series, portfolio or creative project?
You don't need to write an essay — just give us enough to understand the work.
04 — Editorial Selection
Our team reviews submissions based on visual quality, originality, concept, presentation and overall fit with LUMIÈRE.
Not every submission is selected, and selection does not depend solely on follower count, experience or commercial recognition.
05 — Publication
If your work is selected, you will receive the relevant contributor information and available publication options.
Once everything is confirmed, we collect the final images, credits and written information required to prepare the feature.

For Models
LUMIÈRE is particularly interested in discovering new faces.
You do not need to be represented by an agency or have an established editorial career to submit.
We welcome:
- New faces
- Established models
- Independent models
- Beauty models
- Editorial models
- Alternative and distinctive looks
- Personal portrait series
- Creative test shoots
- Model-led editorial projects
Your submission can be a professional editorial, a carefully produced portfolio series or a collection of images that shows us who you are in front of the camera.
For Photographers
We want to see your eye.
LUMIÈRE is interested in photographers who create more than technically strong images — photographers with a recognizable way of seeing their subjects.
Fashion, portraiture, beauty, documentary-inspired work, conceptual photography and experimental imagery are all welcome.
A complete editorial is not required for every submission. A strong photographic series can be enough to start a conversation.
The LUMIÈRE Approach
We believe publication should feel meaningful.
LUMIÈRE is not designed to publish everything that is submitted to us. We curate the work that appears in our pages and digital spaces so that every feature contributes something to the identity of the publication.
We care about the model, the photographer, the image and the idea behind it.
We want to create a publication where emerging creatives can be discovered, established creatives can experiment, and strong images can exist beyond a social media feed.
If you have a face worth photographing, a story worth telling or an image worth remembering, we want to see it.

See you in the light.
