Surrendering to the Current: James Tabbi Steps Out on His Own

SPIN Magazine has described James Tabbi's work as suave, synth-driven Britpop that shimmers with nostalgia, and now Tabbi, lead singer of acclaimed post-punk duo The Heroic Enthusiasts, steps forward with his first solo release, "Slow Slow Slow," out September 16th as the debut single from his forthcoming album A Temporary Resident, due next year. A multi-instrumentalist, recording engineer, producer and celebrated remixer in his own right, Tabbi has co-produced both the single and the new album with English songwriter and pop-rock producer Ben Hillier, known for his work on Depeche Mode's Playing The Angel, Sounds of the Universe and Delta Machine, Blur's Think Tank, and Elbow's Cast of Thousands.
