Suno has been hit with another proposed class action lawsuit related to a data breach that reportedly exposed the personal information of 55.3 million users, marking the company's second such legal challenge in this case. The complaint was filed earlier this month (September 3) in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts, where Suno is headquartered.
Named plaintiff Michael Beckham resides in Huron, South Dakota and claims he registered a Suno account using his Gmail address no later than summer 2024. After having his sign-up address flagged as part of the breached dataset by breach-notification service Have I Been Pwned, Beckham alleges that he suffered identity theft since the breach occurred and has spent about ten hours responding to it."
