Savagegroup does not tour, and the Bavarian trio is proud of it. The band describes itself as 100 percent pure 90s melodic metal, built for ears and not for the road, and its latest single, 'An Angel Had to Go Home', shows what a band can do when it is free of the pressure to be live-ready. The song is an intense, highly theatrical piece that blends high technical energy with massive orchestral arrangements, a heartbreaking lyrical concept and powerful operatic choirs.
