Every great rock band needs an origin story, and Limit State's began with a promise. Singer and composer Damen Easton had already recorded two projects alongside guitarist Dave Wolfberg, including The Dark Corners in 2020 and The Stars, a 2023 collaboration with Jimmie Herrod, yet neither had truly showcased what Wolfberg was capable of on guitar. Realizing this, Easton made a resolution: to write something where Wolfberg could really shred.
