Yesterday, two popular video games – Helldivers 2 and Horizon Forbidden West – mysteriously vanished from the Steam store in the United Kingdom. Initially, there was no announcement or prior warning about this change, leaving users confused as to why they were suddenly unable to purchase these titles on the digital storefront.
Users who did not own either game found themselves unable to buy them online, while those who already had the games pre-owned remained able to play them from their Steam libraries. Sony Interactive Entertainment was quick to respond, promising to 'address the issue' with Valve, though it is unclear what steps they plan to take to resolve this unexpected removal of two popular titles.
