Hate At First Sight Turn Post Punk Tension Into Modern Alternative Aggression on "Familiar Mutations"

Alternative rock has always been at its most compelling when artists refuse to respect the boundaries between genres. Reno, Nevada project Hate At First Sight embraces that spirit on "Familiar Mutations", an EP that draws together the abrasive energy of post punk, the unpredictability of alternative metal and the physical intensity of modern hardcore. Released in June 2026, the collection introduces a project interested in transforming familiar influences into something that feels urgent and distinctly contemporary.
