In 2019, Charles Griffin Gibson sold his equipment and walked away from music. Five years later, standing at a sink in Oslo with an endless stack of oatmeal-stained dishes, he was lost in secret fantasies, lingering regrets and memories of an American childhood that now felt like it had happened on another planet. Then he bought a cheap classical guitar from someone in his neighborhood, and the songs came back. The result is Big Winner, the new project from the American filmmaker and musician, who introduces himself with the single "Blissin' Out" on October 16, alongside a music video, a month before his debut album Dinosaur arrives on November 13.
