Few artists carry a more literal story of survival into their music than BR33Z WORLD. Born in San Francisco and raised in Oakland, the Bay Area artist brings a real-life perspective to his music after surviving being shot in the head and three times in the back, then having to rebuild his life afterward, a recovery that reportedly required emergency brain surgery and relearning how to walk and talk. That experience sits at the center of Black Heart, an eight-track project rooted in survival, pain, ambition, loyalty and resilience, blending cinematic storytelling with melodic West Coast hip-hop and harder street records.
