Sebastian Rydgren's musical journey began on a very public stage. The Swedish artist, songwriter and DJ first rose to national attention as a standout contestant on Swedish Idol in 2022, quickly becoming an audience favorite and advancing all the way to the semi-finals. His talent caught the attention of Idol's chairman of the jury, internationally renowned producer and songwriter Anders Bagge, known for his work with Madonna, Celine Dion and Robyn, who went on to connect Rydgren with a range of other songwriters and producers. Before settling on his own name, Rydgren had previously released music under the monikers NORR and San Sebastian.
