Four Kinds of Pain, One Light at the End: The American Hotel System's Where Pain Will Lead

Pain comes in many forms, but according to The American Hotel System, every path ends in the same place. The Grand Rapids, Michigan, rock band releases its new EP, Part One: Where Pain Will Lead, on October 9, 2026, gathering its three 2026 singles alongside a new title track. Four songs explore four different kinds of pain: the ache of wanting more, the damage of an unhealthy relationship, the anxiety of existential dread, and the fog of not knowing where any of it leads.
