Bristol’s very own pop-rock sensation, Chandra, dropped their latest single, "Lifted". This feel-good anthem, drenched in sun-soaked vibes, promises to be the ultimate singalong track of the summer. Following the success of their March release, "I’ll Be There", Chandra once again delivers a blend of irresistibly catchy hooks and an uplifting message that’s impossible to ignore.

Lifted is a celebration of those magical days when everything seems to fall perfectly into place—when your train arrives on time, the sun is shining on your day off, or you’re at a festival with friends, soaking in the music of your favorite artists. It’s about those moments when you just want to shout your joy from the rooftops, and Lifted captures and amplifies that pure, infectious bliss.

“We wrote this song so that wherever you are, whatever kind of day you’ve had, you can sing along and feel awesome,” says frontman Chandra Nair. “Not every day is going to be amazing, but that positive energy is contagious. I’ve found that when you start your day with a smile and a positive attitude, it spreads to everyone around you. You’re setting the stage for yourself—and everyone else—to have a great day. There’s always someone around who’s having a fantastic day, and their energy can make us all feel lifted. I dare you to sing along to this song and not end up grinning from ear to ear.”

Chandra has emerged as an exciting force in the pop-rock scene, known for weaving rich narratives about the human experience, self-belief, and the ups and downs of mental health into their unique brand of guitar-driven pop. Following the success of singles like Pretty, Smile (No Fox Gibbon), and I’ll Be There, Lifted serves as the title track for their upcoming EP, set to release later this summer.

Co-produced by Chandra and Elliot Vaughan, Lifted showcases the talents of the band’s lineup: Keith Jones on drums, Chris Wong on bass, Rock Cheung on guitar, and frontman Chandra Nair. Accompanying the single is a music video that perfectly embodies the spirit of Lifted. Rather than opting for a grandiose production, the video features real people enjoying life’s happiest moments. “The music video for Lifted isn’t big, clever, or complicated,” Chandra explains. “But it’s an honest reflection of what the song is all about—the infectious power of joy and the undeniable glow that surrounds us when we have a great day. It’s simply a collection of genuine, joyous moments shared in a 4-minute bundle of happiness.”
