Every great arena rock record tells a personal story loud enough for a crowd to sing along to, and Blinded By the Blonde: Chapter One is no exception. The project belongs to D.D.R., short for Divorced Dad Rock, the songwriting outlet of Indiana-based novelist and songwriter Stephen Paul, and across seven tracks it traces an arc through love, betrayal, loss, grief and, ultimately, the decision to feel again.
