Some musical partnerships begin in a studio. This one began as a friendship. American and Nigerian singer-songwriters Steve Petrinko and Dolapo Oladejo met in late 2021 and quickly became best friends, and their new vinyl album, Solid Ground, due October 23, 2026, is the sound of that bond growing deeper. They describe themselves as best friends, creative partners, perpetual encouragement, therapy and everything in between, and the mutual respect and love between them shines through everything they write, perform and produce together.
