I did not believe this album would sound this good for me personally. I still remember hearing 'bad guy' and 'bury a friend' for the first time. They had even something new to give to pop music and I was really blown away. But the debut album was a bit too all over the place for me. Or at least that time I thought so. 'Happier Than Ever' is also pretty varied but somehow I find it pretty solid and all tracks have their place except one.
It's amazing how 'Billie Eilish' can combine very modern electronic music with very simple organic pop songs that have a very strong timeless feeling. She is using her vocals in a much diverse way than before but you can definitely mostly hear the phlegmatic and lazy vocals. 'Billie Eilish' is definitely one of the most mainstream pop artists at the moment!
